High Altitude Trail in the Stubai Valley
Neustift is surrounded by the perennial Stubai Glacier and is starting point for a unique hiking paradise. One particular highlight is the high altitude trail in the Stubai, which leads through a fascinating natural mountain scenery. Along gently flowing streams, quietly gurgling springs, and roaring waterfalls you will have an unparalleled experience with pure nature.

Via high altitude trails, the wild water trail in the Stubai Valley leads hikers to the most beautiful waters of the region. High above the Stubai Valley, you can experience the Alps in all their glory.
The trail really does live up to its name and leads you to attractions such as the wide Grawa waterfall, the quiet Mutterberg lake, or the moraine lake Grünwald.
The Tourist Association Stubai Valley arranges free guided hiking tours, where you can explore the region with an experienced hiking guide. In case of interest, registrations should be made at least one day in advance at the tourism office.
